Hurricane Katrina Relief
The United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta will contract with HomeAid Atlanta to build two 11-unit apartment style facilities and through a partnership with United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta/HomeAid Atlanta, the YWCA Atlanta will provide assessment, rapid-referral and interim resettlement services for homeless women and women with children displaced by Hurricane Katrina at the site of the YWCA's Ida Prather facility in Southwest Atlanta.
