Academy Reception & Silent Auction Thursday, February 1, 2006 6:00 – 8:00 pm At the home of Andrella Baylis Over twenty years ago, the YWCA of Greater Atlanta began honoring the significant accomplishments of Atlanta’s women leaders and inducting these women into the YWCA Academy of Women Achievers. Our Academy is an amazing cross-section of over 200 women from corporations, foundations, media organizations, government and legislative entities, and non-profits. Because of their commitment to empowering women—the YWCA’s mission—these women have become powerful community partners in addressing the needs of women and children in our city. Each year, the Academy holds a campaign to benefit one of the YWCA’s vital programs. This fall, the YWCA will thank and honor its Academy of Women Achievers at an elegant Academy reception and silent auction. This evening hosted by Board Member Andrella Baylis will honor the extraordinary accomplishments of the women who support the YWCA and blaze a path for us all.
